About AFI and our Philosophy

Atrium Facilities & Interiors is a Northern Virginia based company founded in 2013. Our founder, Roger Valentino, successfully ran a larger furniture business for 22 years until selling in 2013.

Over the past 28 years, Mr. Valentino has focused on providing Project Management and furniture related services and products to the Federal Government with an emphasis on providing best value integration of multiple disciplines in a turnkey solution for our Government clients.

In the early 1990’s, Mr. Valentino was involved in Navy BRAC, and working with the Administrative Assistant to the Under Secretary of the Navy, was able to repurpose and reinstall several hundred work stations from closing bases to bases around the country who had no budget for new furniture.

On September 13, 2001, Mr. Valentino worked with the Office of the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Army to design and deliver One thousand systems furniture work stations to create emergency swing space in Crystal City for Army personnel displaced by the September 11th terror attack on the Pentagon.

More recently, Atrium Facilities & Interiors, with our team of designers and Project Managers have been providing furniture project management and design services to such clients as UNITED STATES Marshal Service HQ relocation project, Real Estate and Facilities-Army, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) multi-city renovation project, and USDA Food and Nutrition Services multi-city furniture outfitting projects. These projects are an example of the work we do in support of our Federal Government Customers.

Our team members specialize in strategic planning, project management, design, furniture installation and relocation, warehousing, asset management, and furniture installation and relocation.
